Maybe correct thread. There is a big unknown going on about some engines having to be taken out of service. The AOG industries unapproved parts may only be a very small problem or its practices might lead to every part they ever made being recalled. Probably somewhere in the middle toward the smaller number being removed, hopefully.
What may have been confusing to airlines is explainable. Before the company came into business (2016)? the airlines often had to ship parts to various stations that did not have that specific part. It was a must ride situation. A big red sticker with 6 -10 inch letters AOG -- meaning aircraft on ground and cannot fly until part installed. How the bad company labeled their shipping boxes might be revealing.
