I have been taking trains since infancy and much prefer doing so to any other form of travel. Heavy Acela user until my retirement from New Haven, CT to DC to be close to my grown daughter and son and grandchildren. Just took a train from DC to Jacksonville, FL and Thruway bus to Gainesville and back. Booked a roomette each way and enjoyed it immensely.
