P42 Phase VII Repaint Status

Figured I'd start a thread to keep track of when P42s receive Phase VII throughout the next few years now that the transition has begun. The dates will be when they were released out of Beech Grove and will be updated whenever new ones come out.

They did a rare Thursday move out of the Grove today which had the 4th repaint on it, way sooner than I was expecting. New status:

The 5th one was released today.

The 6th Phase VII left the Grove this morning. We now have

Also forgot to mention last week that 106 came out in fresh Phase V. This was painted months ago right before 174, but the engine had other issues that needed to be fixed before it was released. With it out now, it is officially the last P42 to be repainted into Phase V.
 
Haven't updated in a bit, but we've gotten two new Phase VIIs this month. If the trend persists, I believe 159 will be next sometime in August.

I wonder if they'll start with the VL1s when making the jump to Phase VII equipment. To my knowledge, they have overhauls scheduled starting in October, and it would be a perfect time to repaint them. The Phase VI (or IVb) is getting tired from what I've seen on the Silvers as of late.
 
That would make sense. Not sure if the others will start getting repainted then too or not, but I know Superliners and Amfleets are still getting fresh Phase VI from their respective shops. They may just be using up the remaining supplies they have of vinyl for them similar to with the P42s' paint.
