Good find @caravanman !

Green Line is sort of equivalent of Indian Rajdhanis, except that there is only one single route, unlike the Rajdhanis. But then again the so called ML-1 (Karachi - Lahore - Rawalpindi/Islamabad) is the one premier route in Pakistan. This route infrastructure was supposed to be upgraded under one of the CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) under the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative umbrella, but promises made have not been fulfilled yet, and appears to be unlikely to be fulfilled.

There are other interesting lines like Lahore - Rawalpindi - Peshawar, Rohri - Spezand - Quetta which have Mail/Express service, and others like Peshawar - Landi Kotal (Khybar Railway) which is out of service with major damage from floods, Spezand - Kohi Taftan - Zahedan (Iran) (Spezand - Taftan Line) with weekly service when the political situation in Balochistan is more stable than it is now. The Quetta - Chaman (near the Spin Boldak border post with Afghanistan) has daily service connecting with the Bolan Mail at Quetta.

There is one guy who posts a lot of videos about trains on the Spezand - Quetta - Chaman line, but all the commentary is in Urdu or Punjabi, which I understand, but would be tough on most of the audience here and more so since many Pakistani signage is only in the Persian Scripe written Urdu, though some do have English too. So I have refrained from posting any so far.

There is another fellow who posts a lot of random journeys along ML-1 on various trains, including the legendary Khybar Mail (Karachi - Peshawar Cantt.)

BTW, the legendary Khyber Mail just got a very nice new Diner, unusual in the subcontinent.
