Found this forum from an old forum post showcasing one of Atlanta's MARTA new CQ400 trains being spotted at the Stadler factory. Pretty excited as they are set to unveil the train at our Lindbergh Station this Thursday at 8am. Will make my first forum post if I'm able to get pics.
As for Amtrak, I've taken the only Amtrak service from Atlanta, the Crescent, twice on long 18+ hour trips to New York. Absolutely loved both of those journeys! I've also taken the Cardinal from Chicago to Lafayette last year and also thoroughly enjoyed that experience. I dream of a downtown Atlanta Amtrak station and more services (Nashville, Savannah, Dallas). Hopefully I'll be able to see them come to fruition in my lifetime!
