I do not understand all those cities you are adding. My trip is one way from CHI to LAX in a BR on the SWC. And the highest price I see is $2233 for one adult. Am I reading the bucket listings wrong?

I did 8 seniors in 8 bedrooms and stopped at Traveler Details. Does this mean they had enough bedrooms for my 8 people? What does this tell me, other than they have plenty of bedrooms?

Thanks. I will watch for a bucket drop in a month or two. Also, I never arrive the day of my cruise, I know trains can be very late. I always get a hotel overnight to make sure I can make the connect. Yes, Im planning to arrive a day early and stay overnight in a hotel. Thanks.

Thats exactly what I tell people. They ask why I just don't take a flight to get to my destination. I answer, because taking Amtrak makes it two vacations in one.
