The one I created is completely independent of this website. I wanted one that was always there when using the browser. Most that I found were desktop. This is just an unused page with the counter in the tab. This is just for an individual and not meant for others to see.

Many people use a countdown calendar for future trips. Is that common for people in this forum? I created a simple HTML file that shows the countdown in the tab at the top of the page. If there Is any interest I will post it. It runs locally. No web site needed.

Has Amtrak ever considered running their payment method like cruise lines? For example you only pay a down payment upon reservation and then the balance is due about 60-90 days before the trip. Once payment is made the cancelation penalty rises in steps.

The major stations I have been to are LA Union Station, Chicago Union Station, and New York Penn Station. I think my favorite is Chicago. Too bad Grand Central Terminal is not Amtrak.

They are currently having problems with the verification code system. I tried a few times earlier until it locked me out. I finally got all the codes at once after an hour. I then tried again and the new code arrived within a minute and worked.

I made my reservations for a trip on the California Zephyr for next April. I have rooms 631D and 531D. I am going single in a bedroom. Any comments on location? Where are cars x31 located? This will be SAC to CHI.

Are TQP based on the previous year and reset every year? For example I have not traveled on Amtrak since 2017. I currently have 273 points since I donated some. I assume I have no TQP. On my cruise line the points accumulate over your lifetime and I am at Elite Level.
