If this turns out to be true, then there is a 99% chance that Capital One will want to acquire BofA's current base of AGR credit card holders from BofA. If that's the case, us current card holders will get new cards from Capital One automatically, without the need to apply.

After reading all the posts, I think this sums up the consensus. lol

I could think of a dozen or so reasons that have nothing to do with the current state of what may become of the Amtrak card. I get offers from them all the time for various credit card products they underwrite.
