I tip for good service, especially if I’m in a sleeper, but if the only time I see SCA is when u bring meal and u race past me in a blur, never stopping to ask if I’m ok,but at the end of the trip u start sucking up, no tip for you.

I wish I were your family, this sounds awesome, my family don’t mind me getting on the train but they all like to fly and when hubbie or daughter gets on train all they do is complain. I hope they all think this is a great idea. What fun

So is this really a possibility, they always play with emotions on doing trains to different areas then say nope, ain’t gonna happen. Lol

I live in Baton Rouge and hope that this passenger service goes thru, that drive on the interstate is getting vicious, I would take this train to NO often and it also is gonna stop at the airport, it would really improve tourism for NO because hotels in BR could be used also. Just holding my breathe

Only do coach sometimes from New Orleans to Atlanta or New Orleans to Meridian or Memphis, overnight I have to lay this body down flat and finding I’m not really a roomette person,that is also kinda tight for me.

I’m not liking that sink right out there so I’m exposed. The old H rooms were designed nice. The bed in the VII looks larger. But I will probably never experience the VII as I only ride the Crescent and (senior moment) the train that goes from Hammond to Memphis, lol

I did three in a bedroom to Atlanta, it was the H room, then 3 in a bedroom from NO to Newark, but he was a 6 year old and his mother and he thought it was fun to pass gas as much as he could the whole trip, but we absolutely had a great time

That’s another reason I don’t fly, they pack people on so tight, it might be getting worse than Greyhound , back when I was a little girl, I loved riding the bus,it was an adventure as it stopped at different bus stations to get food. Overnight on the bus at that time was awesome

She lives in Somerset, New Brunswick area, she picks me up in Newark, if I can make it easier for her by getting on or off somewhere else I would. So...
