Found a video recorded yesterday by Railbros Studios taken at Vacaville, California of the light power move with AMTK 313 and 314 after having left the factory. AMTK 301 led the move, which I think makes this the first time a Charger has been used on the move to get new Chargers.

AMTK 309 is behind two P42s on Amtrak #5(18).

I caught AMTK 184 leading Amtrak #5(16) at Agency, Iowa this evening. And if I had chosen the first crossing east of here, I could've gotten a shot of it meeting Amtrak #6(14) running over nine and a half hours late.

I caught AMTK 184 this evening leading Amtrak #5(10) past an eastbound BNSF coal train.

I caught AMTK 184 leading Amtrak #6(07) this afternoon running over seven hours late out of Ottumwa, Iowa. Considering this train started nearly seven hours late out of Emeryville, I'm surprised it didn't lose more time.

Amtrak #5(04) has 184 leading westward once again.

184 is should be arriving in Chicago later today on the point of Amtrak #6(01). The eastbound California Zephyr was running about five and a half hours late out of Ottumwa, Iowa have been delayed several hours in Utah yesterday by a "disabled freight train."

Amtrak #5(29) has AMTK 184 leading it westward.

I caught 184 this evening leading Amtrak #6(26) out of Ottumwa, Iowa over nine hours late. "Freight train interference" is the reason Amtrak stated for the lateness.

AMTK 301, which had been in Denver for crew familiarization, has been picked up by Amtrak #5(23) today and is now traveling westward again. Also, 40th anniversary heritage unit AMTK 184 is leading the train. Michael DeMarco filmed this California Zephyr near Fraser, Colorado.

Back in front and heading back west, AMTK 184 is leading Amtrak #5(23). Also, this California Zephyr has the private cars Cimarron River and Blue Ridge Club on the end of it.

184 is heading east now on the California Zephyr that's due into Chicago later today. It's still the second unit, but now it's the second of three engines. I caught Amtrak #6(20) at Agency, Iowa running on the left track to eventually pass a coal train.

AMTK 184 is back on the California Zephyr, but as the second unit this time. I caught it on Amtrak #5(17) at Agency, Iowa running on the left track which doesn't happen too often for #5.

Fortunately the Iowa Department of Transportation has several railroad maps: https://iowadot.gov/iowarail/iowa-freight-rail/railroad-maps. My favorite is the interactive one that can show both current and abandoned trackage and clicking on a line can show its history of ownership.

Now AMTK 301 is heading west on Amtrak #5(12). The word going around is again this is for crew familiarization.

I caught Amtrak #6(07) with AMTK 312 running nine hours and forty-eight minutes late out of Ottumwa, Iowa.
