Yes My recent experience at an unstaffed station was this. As the train pulled to a stop in front of the Amshack - a crew member in the baggage car had the “garage door” open and ready to go. I handed up my bike - walked 40’ to board the sleeper, and in <2 minutes the train took off again.

I’ve only been on Transdorms a couple of times - but both were a positive experience. I would not hesitate to book one again.

I’ve taken my bike on the Cardinal for the (relatively) short trip of Crawfordsville IN to/from Chicago multiple times. These trips were all before the Bag/Dorms were deployed on the Cardinal - and as you may have seen from my earlier posts on this thread they put the bike in different places...

Even more dumb is you could probably fit a dozen bikes in half a baggage car without breaking a sweat.

I don’t remember precisely - but it seemed to work just fine. This photo doesn’t really show it - but I think there was one of those large cardboard trash cans keeping things from moving around too much.

Yes and No. I could see it in Coach. A lot of folks traveling in Coach might not have unlimited data plans. Also - onboard entertainment systems work regardless of the cellular signal. Would I use OBE? Nope. But for some folks it might be attractive
