Moving now. 19 cleared GRV 3.5 hours down. 20 cleared SPB 9 hours down.

Crescent can't catch a break ! Looks like 19 and 20 are both stuck around Greenville SC, likely weather related.

No, they are actual meals. Just less of a selection. The pasta meal is always one of the choices.

They always offer dinner prior to NOL. It is an "Express" meal with fewer selections.

BC on the Crescent was just a regular Amfleet II coach on the end of the consist. Nothing special.

On the Crescent, it was just a 2+2 Amfleet coach that was behind the sleepers so as to cut down on traffic through the car.

19 and 20 have always carried 2 sleepers. Before BC, 3 coaches sometimes increased to 4 on weekends. After BC always 3 coaches.

20(12) appears to be operating and is pretty much on time.

" before the Roanoke area is completely slammed." 20 doesn't go anywhere near Roanoke. The closest is Danville and Lynchburg, both 50 to 70 miles away and to the east where there is not supposed to be nearly as much storm.

So, how come 20(11) and 19(10) are running and 20 is on time !

Amtrak will pay, but there's nothing to say that Amtrak can't sue CSX in return.
