8/15's Cardinal #51 arrived into Cincinnati at 5:47A and did not leave CUT until 7:26A. I know things brings inconvenience to passengers at destination stations after Cincinnati, but also gives railfans in the Cincinnati area a look at the Cardinal in daylight (which is rare).

As a treat for tonight's (8/5) #30 from Chicago-DC, there was a 9800 Metroliner car behind the leader. It was not utilized for revenue service (as it is in front of the baggage car), but still cool to see as it headed to DC.

It was interesting to see a horizon car on the Cardinal pass by the Cincinnati cam this morning (7/24/24). I'm sure it was deadheading and not in revenue service, but still interesting to see on the Cardinal. Possibly picked up at Beech Grove headed to NY?

A CSX manifest M560 (Cincinnati, OH to Selkirk, NY) had a phase 7 EMD locomotive trailing on 7/24/24. You don't see that many Amtrak locos trailing on freight.

It looks like the Borealis now has a phase 7 charger on it (at least on one of the trainsets). The P42 with the dash 8 livery is on the other end of this. Below is 1340 coming into CUS on 7/23/24. It's cool to see a charger on it.

What I find strange about this photoshop rendering is that the one on the right is an F59PHI with a pantograph (or maybe it's the passenger cars behind it acting as EMUs). Does MARC even have F59PHIs? I know that this is a fake, but scratching my head on the thought process on this.
