This might be slightly off topic, but is there a reason the border patrol can't do the check's on the train while it's in motion? That's what they do on the cross border (non-schengen) European trains. It would save so much time.

According to this, it sounds like Beverly Branch is going to be converted into a quasi light rail line. This is something I've been dreaming about for years. If this is done right, it could turn one of the worst served areas of the city by transit, into one of the best.

Every train on the schedule has a travel time of over 3.5 hours. What happened to the 2 hours, 59 minutes travel time that was promised?
