    i live in cleveland also; my last ride on rta was in march before the mask mandate but people seemed to be social distancing; a gentleman in the front of the bus started to cough and sneeze, he did not seem to have tissue and as much as i regret it, i was not going close enough to him to hand...

    true that you have not cruised much, every ship i have been on (and it is a lot) has had live dice games

    How sad that my grand will not be able to experience train dining as his father did, no excuse for this...whatever, might as well take the bus. As long as this is "dining" on amtrak i will continue to ride coach and save the money for a real restaurant when i get to my destination

    totally agree, although i have seen folks walk up and over to public square from amtrak (as a woman i would not do it at night, but have done it during the day); have been to berea to "railfan" and take pics, but have some folks there who do not understand "diversity"; will not stop me, though!!!!

    They are not ignorant to what is happening in the world. They are very aware of the rules/mandates. I go to the Cleveland Clinic often and they have many Amish/Mennonite patients, all following the rules. They do read newspapers and work/interact with the "real world".

    i wondered why the chicago bound LSL was rolling by after my kid started class, i ocld not get to the window fast enough to wave at it...(cleveland-about 6-10 minutes westbound before the amtrak station) - i can canada from my house... ;) ;)

    the alternatives are coach or the bus, and i will take either (probably train coach) before i would pay that price for a "room" and micro food
