Found two more FLOR Bedroom fares, so here's a revised chart: Suspect there's another Bedroom fare between the lower two, hence the space. Also suspect there's two additional fares for both sleepers if the present pattern of either 5 or 8 buckets holds.

Here's a tentative chart for the new Floridian: Please share any other fares you may find. Can't make any intelligent guesses about whether there are 6, 7, or 8 levels.

Based solely on low bucket Roomette fares and route miles, this new combined Floridian will be about average at 35¢ per route mile. The current average is 36¢/mi with a high of 70¢/mi (CL) and low of 25¢/mi (CZ).

Below, find a tentative fare bucket chart for the new Floridian which begins service around 10 Nov this year. With 6 Roomette fares found thus far, I suspect there are a total of 8 buckets so if anybody spots a fare not shown above, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

If the hotel door facing the tracks has a buzzer to push for entry, then Google Maps tells me the distance to walk is about 250 yards. If the back door buzzer doesn't work, then it's another 160 yards or so around to the front door.

Your finding of the $719 Roomette fare is now the lowest one found, so there may or may not be a lower one. Maybe. The SL now has 6 Roomette buckets and 5 for the other sleepers. In addition, all previously posted SL buckets are now up by $1. Mickey Mouse strikes again!! (and a spot check...

We arrived at EMY at about 7pm last year and took the pedestrian bridge with elevators with no problems. But if you do decide to hoof it to that hotel across the tracks you may find the only door that's open at night is the main entrance on the far side of the hotel. The door facing the tracks...

Sometimes, a picture is worth a word or two, and here are drawings with some dimensions of all Viewliner & Superliner sleepers. Note that windows on Family and Accessible Bedrooms are half the normal width of Roomettes and Bedrooms which somewhat restrict your field of view of the passing scenery.

Thanx for the update: Nice to know tickets can still be modified if you get a knowledgeable AGR agent - as I think almost all are.

In the past I've received full refunds of the differences when sleeper fars drop by calling AMTRAK GUEST REWARDS and requesting the ticket be "MODIFIED". NEVER USE THE WORDS CANCELLED or CHANGED!!!!!! But, it's been a few years and things may have changed.

Please tell me the date and amount of that fare.
