No velcro to attach the curtain to the door frame. Door lock is a little hard to get used to.

The thermostat doesn’t work. Outlets galore. Sink water very user friendly. It you tap gently you’ll get less water. If you actually press it all the way without holding down, you’ll get enough water to wash and rinse your hands. There is a stopper if you want to fill the basin. Pullout door...

If you look at my pics, you will see the ladder was placed behind the single seat. H Room’s bathroom in open. No alcove, no nothing. The coffee pot is there, but not in use.

We are currently in the new bedroom. So far so good. First impressions. Nice. Coffee is very good. That’s a big plus. Without the closet to hold the ladder, the bathroom is larger.

I don’t know if this has been asked and answered before, but we’ll be coming out of the Moynihan station looking to go uptown. Do we have to cross the street to get a taxi in front of the old Penn Station, or can I stay on the Moynihan side and grab a cab? We’re going to Port Authority...

When we cruise, we always order room service for our morning coffee. We’re delivered a pot or 2 with what ever else we want. So much easier than getting it yourself, unless you want a specialty coffee. As far as the coffee station on Amtrak, yes, I’d rather it be there to be able to get it...

I’ve seen service dogs, many times on cruises. They were all so very well behaved. I did read one time, that a lady brought her little service lap dog into the main dining room. She proceeded to let that little mutt eat out of her plate. So glad I wasn’t there to witness that.

I travel the Silvers. It would be nice if they had one menu for north bound and a different menu for south bound.

I really think/hope they were just understaffed. 2 SCA’s taking care of 3 cars. Only 1 person microwaving meals. I hope it’s better when we leave end of May, first of June. We’re too old to carry our meals 3 cars.

I finally heard from my son. There are 3 sleepers. 9210 & 9212 are new cars. There are 2 attendants taking care of 3 sleepers. In the public bathroom, there are 2 buttons. One the flush and the other to call the attendant. Of course, he hit the wrong button. now, getting to the food,, he...

My son is currently going north on the Silver Star. He's in car 12. It's the new car. He promised to send pics of his meals that I'll share. I hope he doesn't forget. He said he pre ordered his meals online before his trip. My trip north won't be sometime in June.
