It's my understanding, however, that the_traveler is still cheesed off about the quality of the Thruway penthouse suites. ;)

Unless you have to show photo ID to travel, it would seem that changing one's appearance (growing or shaving a mustache or beard, for example) would be a fairly simple proposition. Growing or shaving facial hair might be more of a challenge for the ladies, of course.

I wish people could make train videos without the need to add background music which does nothing but detract from the experience. I'd rather hear the sound of the train itself or nothing at all.

This is actually close to the town of Quincy, which is not a station stop. Baird Springs Road goes through a tunnel under the curve. I don't know how accessible the area is for taking pictures of either delayed EBs or freight trains.

I've been through the double horseshoe on the SWC in New Mexico. I've also been around the horseshoe above San Luis Obispo on the CS. That's a possible inference, but she specifically said she wanted to take the SWC when she heads to SEA. Any questions about Superliner equipment would be just as relevant if she took the EB or CS to or from SEA. Unless she's planning to fly or take a bus between SEA and L.A. or somewhere else...

The problem with Akerstein's outfit is his necktie is a bit short. Unless it needs to be so for work purposes (not likely to be the case if he can also wear a skirt), it would look better if it reached almost to his belt. Are there women who "drive" Swedish trains? Can they wear skirts to work...
