Does anybody know what (or where I could find)the history(AMTK #s and Historical #s names, and railroads) of the Amtrak heritage coaches? I know that at least some of the heritages assigned to the adirondak recently were from PRR.

On a website( I think it belongs to a Jim Hebner) I saw a photo of what looked like Gallery cars painted in amtrak phaze 3 colors. What was thew duration of their amtrak service, and what lines did they run on? I would link to the picture, bu thte site is down.

I am not sure if this counts, but my first train trip was in 1988 on the NYC subway, probably the B or C lines(A slant R40 if it was the B or a redbird R30 if it was a C). I can remember some cars(unrebuilt R32s) that were last used in 1990, so i would have been 2 at the time. My first Amtrak...

I know that almost all stops on the new haven line have the daily ticked machines. I also know that no lirr stations except possibly jamaica have daily machines. I think Croton Harmon has daily machines, and i dont know where else does.

A while ago, I saw a 7 engine train in sunnyside yards... E60- Phaze 3 AEM7AC- Phaze 5 AEM7-Phaze 4 AEM7-Phaze3 HHP-8- Phaze 5 P42- Phaze 5 It had no cars, and probably didnt move together, but it was a really interesting sight to see. No cars in the train
