To answer to a previous post, the report read in one section that they are expecting the short distance passengers to be in the 2x2 seating and the premium seat passengers (2x1 section) to be the "long haul" coach passengers.

There's even specification that the elevators need to be operated "manually" with some sort of override system in the case of a "power failure." Not sure how that will exactly work. Rocky Mountaineer's bi-level Gold Leaf service has elevators in them I believe.

Last week Lake Shore Limited had VLII or Boston sleeper and two VL1’s for NYC section. I believe that has been the standard for a bit, as mentioned in a previous post. The 12 car had been a Viewliner II Sleeper, but that has since changed.
