What a pathetic bill. The sponsor Burlison was railing on and on about the East Palestine incident. And what does he do? Proposes a bill to enable and reward the carriers for the very practices that led to the incident. Amazing.

Might not even get to the floor. But it’s still an eye roller and difficult to take these guys seriously.

I glanced at that bill on a Twitter post and it sounded so pathetically desperate. There are people in politics who need to seek mental help, due to some of the stuff they propose.
