I have a card and I THINK I got it before my first trip, but I could be mistaken. This was in 2011.

I'm remembering same as you. I just looked and it says "Member since..." and I think I got it pretty quickly after I joined. Of course, I joined just before I booked a (paid of course) trip, so I could earn the points from the trip! So any of a number of factors could have influenced how quickly I received the card.

You can call the AGR phone number and request a membership card from an agent. But in my experience, as a just plain Member, what you'll get in the mail is little more than what you could print yourself on an inkjet printer -- it'll be just a paper card with your name and membership number printed on it, not a plastic card with a magnetic strip as you might be expecting.

Funny -- I never asked for one, we have never put enough miles in to get Select or any special status, and they sent a plastic card to each of us (me and Hubby).

Just goes to show they are inconsistent and trying to figure out their "rules" is pointless!

I have a plastic card. If I recall correctly, it's even a replacement.

Not much more than my name and member number printed on the front, but it is plastic.

I think I got a card from AGR a few years back -- meaning a piece of plastic that might work at Quick-Trak and nowhere else.

Someday I'll look to find it as a memento of something or other.

Since I got the Chase AGR credit card have had no use --

Don't honestly know.

As I recall, when I got my card there was a restaurant/bar in WAS Union Station that offered a discount for AGR members. Don't see that now.

I have a blue plastic card that was received when I became a member in 2006. Don't recall how soon after trip the card showed up. Thought there was another topic here that stated they no longer issue cards until you reach upgrade status.

AGR membership card?

If Rewards ever gets their act together and credits my trips I should see a card for my SELECT status in the next few months.
