Just a note that #98 will be running an AMF I lounge tomorrow.

We usually cut these cars out in MIA and DH them back north.

I wonder if this is going to brcome routine?

Whats an Amfleet I being sent to Miami for in the first place? Also does the lounge have normal lounge seating, or coach seats? Are they still permitting smoking?

You guys aren't going to believe this!!! This will give you an idea what jerks I have to deal with.

The AMF I car has been on power since 7:00 tonight. The car has been cleaned, worked up and ready to go. Operations needs a lounge up north, so we were going to DH a lounge on #92 tomorrow. The DH lounge is an AMF II.

It's 12:15am and I was just told that we are going swap the lounges, so the AMF I can be DH'ed on #92. What a waste of time!!! Now everyone working the lounge has to do another car! :(

Here's the info you requested!!

The AMF I lounge is 28391. It is a no smoking car but I think its allowed because of the overnight trip. It has a phone and booth seating on one end with tables on the other end. The interior looks like an AMF II with the orange and tan interior. It does have a different waste system.

THe cars markings are funny! It is marked as a lounge on the A end and as a dinette on the B end.

Actually, it looks like you have one of the three ex-Twilight Shoreliner Lounges in the #28390-28394 sereis. The markings on most Amfleet I food service cars never seem to match at each end (Coach-Cafe, Coach-Dinette, Cafe-Dinette, Club-Dinette, Club-Coach, etc.). Now why is this car all the way down in Miami. I wish these cars would still run on the Twilight even if it wasn't used as a FC lounge.
