Amtrak Ride 2010: Texas Eagle Day 1 MKE-STL

This trip was an overnight turn trip from Milwaukee, WI to San Antonio, TX aboard the Texas Eagle in a roomette and bedroom. Although I spent the day after I returned making detailed notes, I lost them in a hard drive crash.


Since my notes are gone, here is day 1 in video: Milwaukee, WI to St. Louis, MO

(I'll start working on it tonight, should be done in a couple of weeks - makes me feel like a real film studio the longer the "post production" takes).

P.S. It's not shown in the video, but it was nice meeting MistyORL by the rail fan window that day!

Nice video. Your room was on the "wrong" side for you to wave as you went by my house - about 10 minutes south of SPI, in the middle of all those corn fields. :giggle:
