Last year I bought an Amtrak t-shirt at PDX. Last week I bought an Empire Builder shirt there and a California Zephyr shirt at a gift shop at the Grand Junction stop.

The Grand junction shop also sells a 3-volume guidebook to the CZ route.

I believe that they sell some small things such as AmTrak Mugs, etc. in the snack car on many trains.

The Auto Train station in Sanford sells some Amtrak items (or at least it did the last time I was there).

Every Amtrak LD Train used to have its own Poster, T- shirt, and Coffee Cup for Sale in the Cafe but IINM they are long gone now!

The PPC on the Starlight has nice Hats and other goodies for sale but they are in short supply!

I'm on the CS now and the supply is short, all right....as in none. On the bright side, they do have real silverware, real china, and real glassware. And a bowl of fruit and dish of candy for sleeping car passengers!! Don't tell Mica!!!!!!

My friend and I looked for a train or Amtrak tee in both WAS and CHI station shops and didn't see any, only shirts featuring the cities. We didn't make a thorough search, so I can't say with certainty that there are none there, however.

Thanks all,

I was hoping to get a couple of mugs and a whistle, looks like I will have to get them from the site and have them shipped to the UK, or may see if I can have them delivered to my accommodation in Chicago ☺

And when I bought my coffee cups on those many different trains (years ago), they were all "bottomless" -- meaning they would be refilled for free any time I rode on that train subsequently with said cup in hand. Sadly, that honoring of the bottomless cup by lounge attendants ended several years later. But the good thing was that I went off coffee cold turkey at the same time and haven't looked back.
