Amtrak vs Vehicle: Bealton, VA

I've traveled up and down US-17 through Bealton, VA (in Fauquier County) many times, and I know where these tracks run. From whet I know, the train was the 171 Northeast Regional:

Don't characterize it as an "accident". Regardless of motivation, it was trespassing.
