Can anyone give me information on hotels near the Milwaukee downtown Amtrak train station.

Planning on staying overnight April 22nd and depart on the 6:15 am Amtrak to CUS.

Any hints and suggestions are welcome on places to eat and any safety issues.

You won't have any troubles, safety-wise, in that area. Especially at 6 AM.

Restaurants:

Mo's - Wisconsin/Plankinton - Steaks

Safe House - Wells/Front - Spy-themed restaurant. Need password to get in, otherwise you'll have to perform some funny act.

Ratzsch's - Broadway/Mason - German

Mader's - 3rd/State - German
