Booking hotels through Amtrak's site

Hello, if I book hotels/cars through here:

http://trip.amtrak.com

and I use my AGR credit card, do I still get two points per dollar (as opposed to one point per dollar).

Reason I ask is because I don't know if this would be considered "train travel"

I have booked one hotel using this service. The hotel is not considered train travel.

In order to be considered "train travel", the charge must post as "Amtrak". The hotel will post as "Hilton" or "Sheraton" or "Best Western" or whatever - and you get 1 point/$.

What many people do not realize is that if you buy a meal onboard, or buy snacks onboard, or pay for the wine tasting in the PPC, etc... - and use the AGR MC - it will post as "Amtrak" - and you WILL earn 2 points/$!
