CN Dumps Another....

CN has another derailment. This time its on the NTR (National Transcontinental) at Green River (Riviere-Verte) New Brunswick between Grand Falls and Edmundston along the Saint John River and US Border.

This is CNs mainline to the Maritimes and freight only.....but its having an impact on VIA. Todays eastbound Ocean is running nearly 5 hours late among a parade of detouring CN freights on the Newcastle Subdivision via Campbellton.

That's a lot of tanker cars on their sides!!!

Doesn't appear to be any leakage into the river or the first thing they would put out is a boom. And I’m just guessing here.......this train was westbound and the tankers could be empty after unloading at Irving’s Saint John Refinery.

Update: CBC reports they were empty crude tankers and nothing has leaked:
