San Francisco Bay area commuters are being asked to sit down and share their thoughts on new seats for Bay Area Rapid Transit trains.

 

Riders can visit a "seat lab" at the Metropolitan Transportation Commission headquarters in Oakland where they can sample a variety of seat sizes and materials.

The problem I have with this stunt is that, unless the seats are in something that accurately simulates the motion of a BART train, how can anyone tell how comfortable they may really be?
