Connection between Starlight & Empire Builder in Portland

My wife and I are traveling from Los Angeles to Montana in late May, riding the Coast Starlight to Portland where we connect with the Empire Builder. We are returning about one week later. Does anyone know how reliable this connection has been in recent days? I have done it before, and had no trouble, but not for a number of years. I'll appreciate any assistance ...

Just go to Amtrak website and you can look it up. Think its under destinations and then on time performance.

Recently the builder has had much improved service over last year, and the connection is guaranteed so if the train does miss the connection it is up to Amtrak to get you through.
