Would they be more apt to hold the #59 for a late EB #8 since it's not connecting to any trains in NOL?

That would probably depend on how many passengers there were on No. 8 who were connecting at Chicago for No. 59, I'd imagine. Maybe an Amtraker can give us the skinny on this.

They held the 59 the day I arrived in CHI at 9:15ish (this past Thursday). There was a woman on the platform with a sign for train 59 to get ppl detraining from my late #8. Also the customer service ppl on the train gave those instructions to ppl on my train.
