Further west Indian Railways is connected to Pakistan Railways at two border crossings - Atari-Wagah (between Amritsar and Lahore) and Munabao-Kokhropar (between Jodhpur and Hyderabad (Sindh) across the Thar Desert).
Then further west, Pakistan Railways is connected to Rah-e-Ahan Iran (Iran Railways) with a gauge change - Broad to Standard, at Zahedan, and thence to Turkey and Azerbaijan and on to Europe.
