No. You cannot earn free points on an award redemption.

Technically, it does post to your account - but as -0- points. TS is correct, no AGR awards do not earn more points, because you earn 2 AGR points per $ spent, but you did not spend any money for the tickets.

But do remember to take your Chase AGR card with you because any money you spend on board on incidentals such as booze or snacks earns Double Points. It may not be much but they add up.
