hi,

Next month my bf and I are going to take our first ever train ride to indianapolis on the Cardinal 51 overnight, we both are scared lol just cause it's something we have never done before and want to

have as much information as we can :) .

So here are a list of questions we both have asked each other at some point lol, I am sorry in advance for the length of the questions and the amount :)

We already purchased the tickets online, do we pick them up the same day of departure or before?

If the train arrives early does it leave earlier then the scheduled time of departure?

How long does the delays for this route sometimes run?

How soon in advance would you say to arrive at the station? I know it's recommended 1 hour but for a new person would it be more or to pick up tickets?

Would you recommened using the quik kiosk, I am afraid of it not printing my tickets or some other malfunction and being stranded.

Could someone explain the boarding process? like do we just wait to board then choose our seats? and how do we reserve our seats?

We have reserved coach seats, what does this mean exactly and does it mean we both will be able to sit together?

How do you know to board the train do they make an annoucement? same with disembarking is there an announcment?

can we get into our carry on at anytime or is that not acceptable since it would be in overhead compartments?

I think that's all for now..I do apologize, again, for the amount of questions and I do thank everyone in advance for at least reading this. :)
