Bridge between Oregon City and Gladstone unstable after storm

residents ... reported hearing a large "CRACK" around 8:30 a.m. When they looked out their windows, they saw the bridge abutment had shifted about four feet.

This is relatively close to the Oregon City Amtrak station, but as the article notes it's an unused

and completely separate line.

With a satisfying SPLOOOSH, the former trolley bridge was yanked off its piers and into the river yesterday:
