Hi all,

My partner and I have been riding Amtrak for years, though I just joined this last week. We're in Seattle with lots of family in the Midwest, so Empire Builder is our main route, though we now have some family in LA so will probably be riding the Starlight more as well. I'm looking forward to some great discussions!

Welcome, Skylar!

I'm up here on Orcas Island, and like to ride the Empire Builder, Coast Starlight, and Cascades. I've learned lots about booking and riding Amtrak here. There's also a thread in the non-rail section about ferries.
