Don't know. At that time I probably didn't even know the meaning of the word.

My first trip I sat in a daze and ate a banana. There was no receptacle of any kind and I didn't know what to do with the peel. A man across from me leaned over with a kindly smile, took it out of my hand and tossed it out the open window!

Ah if it had open window the most likely Meter Gauge, and you were pulled by a venerable YP or YG class most likely built by TELCO. Did the steam loco have elephant ears (smoke deflectors)?
