If I remember correctly (from last night), Sheldon mentions the PPC when Raj asks where he can purchase an alcoholic beverage. Sheldon responds by giving detailed information about the PPC. Turns out that Raj purchased an non-alcoholic beer by mistake (and when Howard brings it to Raj's attention, Raj loses his confidence to speak to a woman).

Sorry to resurrect a sort of old thread..... but... a little birdie sent me a text a couple of hours ago (that I just read) informing me that Bill Cosby and Shanghai were hanging out together in the Club Acela in PHL.

I listened to the VP speak at Frank Lautenberg's funeral service. His remarks were quite humorous about Amtrak and the Senator. Mr. Lautenberg was late one day and they held Acela for the Senator but not for the Vice president. Hearing Mr. Biden speak about his life and Amtrak was pretty funny in his rather long eulogy. I know nothing about the late Senator, but he must have been well respected.

Sat behind henry Kissinger a few years ago in Acela FC. he boarded at NYP, I was getting off in newark.

Had an Amtrak Police Officer with him. Had an "assistant" with him who helped him with luggae and getting a seat, but couldn't tell if he was a hybrid assistant/body guard or what.

I am almost positive it was Gene Shalit at the Acela Club in NYP. Who else has that kind of hair.

Many years ago Tammy Faye Baker was riding in coach on the Lake Shore Limited. It was announced over the PA system. A few people said hello, but for the most part she was left alone.

Wonder if **** tried to "Convert" him into to becoming a Republican? ^_^ I rode AcelaFC from PHL-NYP with Charles Barkley when he was a Republican and was still talking about Running for Governor of Alabama! He has since "Seen the Light!" :giggle:
