Hello,
After lurking around for awhile and making a thread as a guest (I made the thread about taking Amtrak to MKE), I decided to join. I've been into trains since I was a kid, the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton is what got me interested in them. I didn't get a chance to ride a passenger train until I was in my teens when I rode the MBTA regional rail into Boston during a family vacation. My first Amtrak trip was this July when I went by myself from New York to Baltimore and back. It was a good experience, despite both trains being late.
