I know SQUAT about NJ Transit, and with sooo many educated NEC members here, I'd like some advice.

I'd like to attend the Michigan v. Rugers, in Piscataway, (1 Scarlet Knight Way

Piscataway, N.J. 08854) Football game on October 4th. The game starts at 7:00PM. I'll be coming from Baltimore, via Amtrak (if that is best option, guess I could switch in Philly if need be)

Advice on routing(s) ? Stations? Best way to get to Rutgers Football Stadium? Is New Brunswick the ideal stop? Looks like it's only served on weekdays..... Is there transit from station to campus? If not, looks like it is about a 2 mile walk. Is it a safe area? Lodging after game? Preferably a Hilton property...

Thanks in advance.

Go Blue, welcome Rutgers, to the BIG10.

Not to sure on bus service from the station to the stadium, the station is in a decent enough area. I would say Amtrak to Trenton then switch to NJT from there to New Brunswick.

Take an Amtrak from Baltimore to Trenton. Switch at Trenton to NJT and take that train to NBK. Shuttle buses run from the bus stop at the train station to the stadium for 3 hours prior to the kick off and run three hours after the game ends.

As for the HIlton, I recommend the East Brunswick Hilton at Tower Center. I've..um...had some fun in there. :) It is a well kept, comfortable and quiet. ;)
