New member here. I am a retired veterinarian. I have taken 2 long, complicated, trips on Amtrak but these were many years ago. I am in the investigating/planning stage for using the USA Rail Pass. Both other times, I had a roomette for me and my husband. This time, it will be just me. I am adventurous and figure that if I get tired of coach travel (very doubtful) I can just end the trip and go home.
I have 2 goals. The main one is to see as much of the USA lass by my window. The other is to stop in 5 different cities that have art museums. These particular museums have paintings by a specific artist, from the 1800’s, that I have always wanted to see.
