How do I get the points if 2 people share a sleeper when making a res

Last year I traveled with my dad to KC, and did not get points for the sleeper on the return trip to Chicago. I'm thinking its that I gave his name first to the agent on the phone. This time when I used the phone, I gave my name and guest rewards number 1st, and his name 2nd.

The reason I am not booking on the internet is that we want to hold the reservation before paying for it. We are checking to see if we can get a decent airfare from Chicago to LA to catch the CS.

The first person on the reservation gets the sleeper charge points, and both get their fare points, so your assumption is correct. Give your name and AGR number first, and you'll get the sleeper points. Doesn't your Dad have an AGR account? If not, refer him and you'll get 500 bonus points and he'll get 1500 points.

Ispolkom is correct. Whatever name is listed first on the reservation gets AGR points for his/her rail fare AND for the TOTAL room charge. The second person just gets AGR points for his/her rail fare. If the first person does not have an AGR account, those points are lost.

As an example, I traveled a few years ago with my sister. I was listed first, and earned whatever it was - like 1,500 points. She earned something like 300 points!

As mentioned, if you refer him by September 30, you will get a referral bonus of 500 points!
