I'd put it in "maybe" territory. A few years ago, headed westbound, the train arrived very late--well after 10PM, as I recall. As we boarded our sleeping car (I think at East Glacier), the fabulous SCA Gul a) apologized for being so late, and b) said that dinner was waiting for us in the dining car. We told him thanks, but we'd already eaten. I've since then wondered how he managed to convince the dining car to serve such late-arriving passengers.Wouldn't be a problem if the train were on time.
Right now it's showing 2h40 late, which puts it into solidly "probably not gonna happen" territory.
