Hi Ed

What station is that with a row of concrete benches along the platform length with a red (Rajdhani?) train in the background?

I see you got that one obligatory "oh-look-a-cow-in-an-urban-place" pic that every foreigner visiting India has to have in their album ;)

Glad you're over the Deli Belly and enjoying your holiday Eddie!

I'm betting your not missing the Foggy isle at all knowing how much you enjoy the warm sun.

Wish I was there, we're envious!

And is it true that McDonalds serves Roo Burgers in India since Cows are Sacred?

I suspect the train is the Tiruvanthipuram Rajdhani which he traveled by. The station is probably somewhere on the Mumbai - Delhi portion since the track is electrified. Just guessing.

Taking a picture of a cow in India is a compulsory activity to enter into the haloed halls of "Tourist in India" :)

Hi,

Sorry for delay in replying... I am not 100% sure of the station, it is one on the Delhi to Bhubaneshwar line. The guys in the distance are troops who boarded. It might be Kharagpur Junction, as the next shots taken were there, or if not, then probably the long station stop whichever that is, before Kharagpur.

Many more train pics to follow!

Ed.
