It's pretty quiet on a Sunday morning, and 89 is running 8 minutes late.

"Because of the large volume of customers, we are experiencing delays in selling tickets, checking bags and tellingyou where to stand on the platform. Please come back to the station later or wait out in the cold until we call you back" 
Actually, they announced the train in a timely manner, the train arrived less than 8 minutes behind schedule, and it made up time, so we arrived in Washington more or less on schedule.
I'm glad I sprung for business class, even though the coaches on 89 are Amfleet 2s, because the coach section looked pretty crowded. The business class was less than half full, and I had a seat pair to myself.
Of course, I would have preferred to be able to take an earlier train.

Not quite.
