Traveled Coach -- We left on the Train from Chicago to Buffalo... ride was smooth, There were seats marked as reserved for 2. It worked out well so we weren't distrubed as much in the middle of the night with new people coming in at different stops. Th train was on time.
Coming back May 2. OH.... I'd gotten a "heads up" through this forum that the train is sometimes late. Well, it was nearly 2 hours late getting to Buffalo. Supposedly because of the "freight" traffic. We were 2 hours 15 minutes late getting into Chicago. Not nearly the pleasant trip. The ride was rough and we had to stop several times because of other (probably freight) traffic. If the train is always about an hour late, I don't know wny they just don't change the schedule to reflect that.
