I just logged into my AGR account, and noticed the "regular" sign-up bonus for the MC is 6,000 points. Wasn't it 5,000 points before? :huh:

I also like this statement when you click "Apply Now"

This offer is limited to the member and member number to whom this offer was communicated.

This was obtained from the website for new AGR members! So if you are a new member, how would you ALREADY have a member number to receive this communication? :huh:

I think they're adding that as a standard disclaimer. They're sending out targeted offers as noted elsewhere, but they don't want those offers to be valid for any one else. You're right that it's not really appropriate if you aren't actually member yet.
