There's been a slow project to replace nearly all the stations on the Keystone line, many of which were *very* decrepit, and most of which were not ADA-accessible. This is one of those projects.

They tend to be expensive because they're eliminating all the pedestrian grade crossings as they go, and the line is usually elevated or depressed in a trench, requiring elevator towers. Several are being relocated a mile or two in either direction to better locations (this is one of those examples), often for the purpose of getting the platforms in locations with completely straight track, which are easier to build high platforms at.

Parkesburg, Coatesville, Downingtown, and Ardmore still need to be finished -- Ardmore and Coatesville are under construction; Downingtown has property acquired and a design; Parkesburg is inexcusably delayed.

There was once talk of a station at Leaman Place / Paradise where the Strasburg RR track interchanges, Is that still a possibility or is that now dead? Would be cool to take Amtrak to the Strasburg RR. Plus useful as an infill station between Parkesburg and Lancaster.

The current Pennsylvania State Passenger Rail Plan has nothing in it about a station at Paradise or Leeman Place. One was considered back around 2010 and a grant request was rejected by the FRA. There has been no further action.
