Just joined and looking forward to learning a thing or two. Some 50+ years ago when my family lived and Sacramento my mom would periodically take me for a short walk so I could see the Zephyr go by.

Have been lucky enough to travel cross country several times with my own family and solo over past 20 years. Still thrilled by thought of long distance train travel and always looking forward to next trip.

Have lurked on AU a couple of months, but met several members in Chicago's Metropolitan Lounge today. So I joined? Used to take the Montreal Limited all the time between Montreal (Windsor station) and Grand Central Terminal in New York.
